ABOUT US
Into a new beginning...
A husband-wife symphonic metal duo that takes you on a lyrical journey. Hope Beyond Suffering began from the ashes of Drew's former project Behold the Dawn, and soon developed into something far greater.
After Vannah completed her guest vocals on Behold the Dawn's "Oh God What Have I Done" , a new musical project began to take shape. Inspired by other symphonic metal bands such as Nightwish, Within Temptation and Amaranthe, as well as other musical inspirations like Adele, Billie Eilish, and Coldplay; Drew and Vannah created Hope Beyond Suffering and released their first song "The Dawn Escapes" in October 2019.
Since then they have released two full-length albums, an EP, and several singles. Their greatest accomplishment by far has been the angel/demon rock opera concept album Hope Against Suffering. Now having over a couple thousand streams on music streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music, as well as being featured on JesusFreakHideout.com Independent Artist review, and I'm Clifford Today's Spotlight Video, Hope Beyond Suffering has found an audience.
In 2025 Hope Beyond Suffering will release a new double single titled Chromophobia/Perfect Love, designed to showcase the band's individual style and pave the way for upcoming performances.
